Presidency School of Commerce successfully organised a workshop on “Bibliometric Analysis Using Open Access Software” on July 26, 2025.

The session was conducted by Mr. Shamshadali P, Senior Research Fellow, Department of Banking Technology, School of Management, Pondicherry University. He provided valuable insights into bibliometric methods, data visualisation, and the use of open-access tools to map and evaluate research outputs effectively.

The workshop introduced participants to key concepts such as citation analysis, co-authorship mapping, research trend identification, and the practical application of open-source software for bibliometric studies.

This interactive session empowered faculty members and research scholars with practical skills to enhance the quality and visibility of their academic research.
