Presidency School of Computer Science & Engineering hosted a seminar on “Defy the Odds: Women’s Way Forward!!! Empower – Evolve – Excel” on November 5, 2025.

The session, led by Dr. Shakkeera L., Professor & Associate Dean – Academics, PSCS, explored a series of insightful and thought-provoking themes focused on fostering empowerment, confidence, and leadership among women. She addressed key areas such as breaking gender barriers and stereotypes, empowering oneself through education and self-awareness, and embracing leadership opportunities for career advancement. She also highlighted the importance of emotional intelligence, resilience, and maintaining a healthy work–life balance to support overall well-being.

The session was further enriched with inspirational narratives and success stories of women leaders who have overcome challenges and emerged as role models.
