The NSS Cell of Presidency University successfully organised the district-level round of Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament on March 22 - 23, 2025. This prestigious event witnessed participation from over 50 colleges and universities across Bangalore Rural, Kolar, and Chikkaballapur districts, with 150 candidates qualifying for this stage.

The event provided a dynamic platform for young leaders to present their perspectives on the "One Nation, One Election" concept. The thought-provoking discussions showcased the exceptional talent, analytical skills, and vision of the participating students.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of renowned social activist Ms. Brinda Adige; Mr. Ashok Kumar, Director – NYK; Dr. Visya Shankar Shetty, Pro Vice Chancellor; Dr. Anu Sukhdev, Director – Student Affairs; and Ms. Renuka Bhagwat, Assistant Professor – ECE & NSS Coordinator. Other dignitaries who graced the function included Dr. Prabhakar Rao, renowned ISRO scientist; Capt Ritesh Jha, veteran, Indian Armed Forces; Ms. Vidya R., faculty, Christ College of Law; Dr. Malarvili K., professor, Dept of Languages; and Dr. Narasimha Murthy S.V., associate professor, Dept of Languages.

The overwhelming response from participants reaffirmed the commitment of today's youth to nation building and democratic engagement.
