Presidency University Bangalore was pleased to welcome a 12-member delegation from Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), New Zealand, for a day of academic engagement, knowledge exchange and strategic dialogue.

 

The visit translated the partnership between the two institutions into meaningful academic engagement through four faculty-led masterclasses:

• Prof Paul Teesdale-Spittle – Chemistry and AI-driven drug discovery

• Dr Michael Dudding – Animation, motion and visual storytelling

• Assoc. Prof. Revti Raman – Business strategy in a volatile and interconnected global environment

• Dr Samantha Keene – Contemporary perspectives on crime and law

The two institutions also explored opportunities for deeper collaboration in student exchange, 1+1 dual-degree pathways, COIL and Global Classrooms, Dual PhD opportunities, and other joint academic initiatives.

 

For Presidency University, meaningful internationalisation goes beyond signing an MoU. It is about turning partnerships into opportunities for students, enabling faculty collaboration, strengthening academic programmes and bringing global perspectives into the classroom.

 

The visit reflects our continued commitment to Internationalisation at Home, bringing global academic experiences to our students in Bengaluru.
