The PSoC Research Forum, in association with the Presidency School of Commerce, successfully conducted a workshop on “ICSSR Research Proposal Writing” on 28 February 2026.

The workshop featured Dr.Parmod Kumar, Professor and Acting Director of the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bengaluru, as the Resource Person. The session provided detailed guidance on developing research proposals aligned with ICSSR’s funding framework and evaluation standards.

The key takeaways from the session included identifying research gaps, formulating problem statements, structuring proposals with clear objectives, and designing sound research methodologies.

The event saw participation from 55 faculty members and 5 research scholars representing various schools of the University. The interactive Q&A session facilitated meaningful academic discussion and practical insights into proposal preparation.

The workshop underscores the institution’s commitment to fostering a strong research ecosystem, enhancing academic competence, and supporting faculty members in securing competitive research grants.
