Presidency University Bangalore was honoured to welcome two academics from the University of Melbourne to campus for a series of engaging, in-person academic sessions with our students.

 

Dr Maria Rodriguez Read from the School of Computing and Information Systems led students from our School of AI & Advanced Computing through “Cloud Computing in Action”, connecting contemporary cloud technologies with their real-world applications.

 

Meanwhile, Dr Niharika Garud from the Department of Management and Marketing challenged our Commerce students with “Changing the Game: Making Effective Business Decisions”, exploring how strategic decisions can shape outcomes at an organisational level.

 

Both sessions were thought-provoking and highly interactive, with students actively participating in workshops, asking questions and engaging in meaningful discussions with the speakers. The opportunity to interact directly with academics from a leading global university brought valuable perspectives and practical insights into the classroom.
