TechToque – Department of Mechanical Engineering Newsletter & Magazine Released

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Presidency University, Bengaluru, proudly released the digital edition of TechToque, the Department’s newsletter and magazine, on 16 September 2026 at 11:00 AM.

 

The release ceremony was conducted in the presence of Dr. Ramesh S., Dean, School of Engineering, who officially released the digital version of TechToque and unveiled the official logo of the magazine. The event marked an important milestone for the department in showcasing its academic, technical, co-curricular, and professional activities through a dedicated digital platform.

 

Dr. Satish Babu Bopanna, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, was present during the ceremony and extended his support towards the initiative. The event was attended by faculty members and students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, who joined the celebration and witnessed the launch of the department’s digital publication.

 

Dr. Basavaraj Devakki, Convenor of the event, served as the Master of Ceremony and coordinated the proceedings, facilitating the smooth conduct of the release ceremony.

 

TechToque has been envisioned as a platform to document and highlight the diverse activities and achievements of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The publication brings together Various activities confucted (FDP, Webinars, Seminars, Industry Visits, Workshop), faculty achievements, student accomplishments, academic initiatives, innovations, projects, faculty publications, dept. Placement data, higher studies data, and other noteworthy contributions.

 

The digital release of TechToque reflects the department’s commitment to effective communication, knowledge sharing, and recognition of the achievements of its faculty and students. The launch also provided an opportunity to celebrate the collective efforts of the department and encourage continued participation in academic and technical activities.
