TechBiz 2026 is a high-impact case-analysis and technology-driven solution design competition for undergraduate students. The event challenges participants to analyse real-world business and technology failures, identify root causes, and design innovative, tech-enabled revival strategies under real-world time constraints.

 

Event Schedule

• Phase 1 – Registrations: 11 February 2026 – 24 February 2026

• Phase 2 – Case Review & Shortlisting: 27 February 2026 (Friday)

• Phase 3 – 24-Hour Final Round & Prototype Evaluation: 28 February 2026 (Saturday)

Key Highlights

 

Participants will:

• Analyse failed business and technology cases

• Apply structured analytical frameworks

• Develop technology-driven revival models

• Compete in a 24-hour final challenge

• Pitch solutions before a jury panel

Technology Focus Areas

 

Solutions must integrate one or more of the following:
Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Automation Tools, Digital Platforms, Optimisation Systems, and Customer Engagement Technologies.

 

Eligibility & Teams

• Open to undergraduate students from Engineering, Management, and Technology programmes

• Team size: 1–4 members (interdisciplinary teams encouraged)

Registration Fee

• ₹500 for external participants

• Internal participation as per institutional guidelines

Objectives & Outcomes

 

The event aims to foster strategic thinking, innovation, teamwork, and technology-based problem solving while promoting SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). Participants will gain real-world case experience, enhanced pitching skills, and produce a structured case report or functional prototype, preparing them for hackathons and corporate competitions.
