The School of Media Studies (SOMS), in collaboration with the Placement Cell at Presidency University, organised a three-day placement bootcamp for students of the Bachelor’s programme from 15 to 17 September 2026.

Over the three days, the trainers—Mr Madan, Ms Naija, and Mr Prajwal—engaged students in a range of activities and games designed to develop their understanding of teamwork, gestures, and attentive communication.

A major highlight of the sessions was the inclusion of role-play activities based on situations relevant to the media industry. These activities provided students with opportunities to demonstrate their abilities in group discussions, build confidence, and develop the skills required to secure employment opportunities in the media and allied industries.

The sessions were well received by the students, who actively participated in all the activities and appreciated the effectiveness and usefulness of the bootcamp.
