SOMS International Conference on AI-Driven Business 2026

Presidency School of Management, in collaboration with the Australian International Institute of Higher Education (AIIHE), Australia, successfully hosted the International Conference on AI-Driven Business: Innovation, Intelligence and Impact on 15–16 June 2026.

 

The two-day conference brought together eminent academicians, industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, and students from across the globe to deliberate on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of business, leadership, innovation, and sustainable growth.

 

The inaugural session was graced by Dr Vlad Belovukovic, CEO, AIIHE, Australia, as the Guest of Honour, while Dr Sanjay Tyagi, Director & Scientist ‘G’, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, delivered the inaugural keynote address, offering valuable insights into India’s AI ecosystem and digital transformation journey.

 

A major highlight of the conference was the panel discussion on “Beyond Automation: How AI is Redefining Business Leadership”, which brought together experts from academia, government, and industry to share perspectives on the evolving role of AI in decision-making, innovation, workforce transformation, and organisational strategy. The session was moderated by Prof. Krishna Durbha, Professor of Business Analytics. The panellists included Mr Mahadesha V, Scientist ‘F’, STPI; Ms Eswari Rao, Senior Vice President, Deutsche Bank; and Ms Lakshmi Devi Prakash, Vice President, Applied AI/ML, JPMorgan Chase & Co.

 

The conference provided a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange, research dissemination, and industry–academia collaboration, reinforcing Presidency University’s commitment to fostering thought leadership and innovation in emerging technologies.
