As part of the Deeksharambh 2026 orientation programme on Thursday, 2 July 2026, the new batch of the School of Media Studies embarked on an exciting photo walk along MG Road and Ulsoor Lake in Bengaluru.

 

The activity introduced students to the basics of camera handling, framing, composition, observation and street photography. From capturing the vibrant life of MG Road to experiencing the calm beauty of Ulsoor Lake, students explored Bengaluru through their own creative perspectives.

 

The photowalk was not just about taking pictures—it was about learning to observe, interpret and tell stories through visuals.
