A new journey begins at Presidency School of Management!

 

We are delighted to welcome the MBA 2026 cohort to Presidency School of Management, Presidency University, as they embark on their management journey through Deeksharambh 2026 – the MBA Inaugural & Orientation Programme.

 

The inaugural ceremony set the tone for an exciting journey ahead, featuring inspiring addresses from the University and School leadership:

  • Dr Thiruvengadam S. J – Vice-Chancellor, Presidency University

  • Dr Dinesh Nilkant – Provost, Presidency University

  • Dr Venkateswaran S – Registrar, Presidency University

  • Dr Raghu – Director, Presidency School of Management

  • Dr K. Krishna Kumar – Dean, Presidency School of Management

We were privileged to welcome Mr Girish Nair, Chief Operating Officer, Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), as the Chief Guest. His industry perspective provided an inspiring start to the students’ MBA journey.

 

The inauguration was followed by an engaging ‘Business on Campus’ session with Dr Dinesh Nilkant, Provost, along with sessions covering academic regulations, examination processes, placements, campus life and student engagement.

The three-week Deeksharambh 2026 programme has been thoughtfully curated to help students move beyond the classroom and gain practical exposure to the realities of management.

 

The programme brings together:

  • Digital & Future Skills – Digital tools for MBAs, FinTech, Agile for Managers and social media for managers

  • Personal & Professional Development – Personal branding, LinkedIn profiling, CV clinics, etiquette and grooming

  • Wellness & Mindfulness – Mental fitness, wellness, mindfulness, reflective journalling and holistic well-being

  • Experiential Learning – Case-based learning, business games, outdoor leadership activities, industry visits, alumni interactions and industry–academic dialogue
