Building bridges between two dynamic economies, the School of Management (SOM), Presidency University, hosted the Indo–Vietnam Round Table Conference on Trade & Relations on 27 October 2026.

Centred on the theme “Vietnam – A Key Partner in India’s Act East Policy and Indo-Pacific Vision”, the conference brought together distinguished academic representatives from India and Vietnam to explore opportunities for strengthening bilateral engagement across trade, manufacturing, resilient supply chains, digital finance and innovation.

The discussions also highlighted the transformative role of universities in fostering faculty and student exchanges, collaborative research, industry-linked learning and cross-cultural understanding.

The conference reaffirmed the shared potential to move beyond conventional trade towards enduring partnerships that connect knowledge, industry and people, paving the way for mutual growth and stronger Indo–Vietnam relations.
