Presidency University: Dr Ramesh M

 

The meeting commenced with an introduction to Presidency University by Mr Ravi Kiran Kulkarni, Director – Academic Relations, who outlined the purpose of the proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

 

Dr Ramesh M, Associate Professor, School of Management, Presidency University, provided an overview of the Presidency Group of Institutions, including the University’s vision and mission. He also highlighted the programmes offered by the School of Management and the support required from KASSIA for student skill development in areas such as internships, placements, and entrepreneurship. He further elaborated on potential areas of collaboration where both institutions can work together to achieve shared goals and objectives.

 

Members raised several questions, particularly regarding consultancy and management support required by MSMEs across various clusters and zones. Discussions also focused on process improvement, as well as training in Lean Manufacturing and Quality Control (QC) techniques.

 

Dr Ramesh assured the members of the University’s commitment to supporting small and medium enterprises in their business growth and development through competent industry faculty.

The MoU was subsequently signed by the authorised signatories.
