Day 4 of the MBA Orientation Programme was an engaging blend of entrepreneurship, industry exposure and experiential learning, encouraging students to think beyond conventional career pathways and embrace an entrepreneurial approach to opportunities.

 

The day began with “Be Your Own Boss – Entrepreneurship”, led by Mr Girish, Director – PLA, encouraging students to take ownership of their careers and create their own pathways.

This was followed by “Busting the Myth About the Market” by Mr Kishore B. S., Co-Founder – StockByte, which challenged students to question popular assumptions about markets and understand the realities that shape entrepreneurial and business decisions.

 

The entrepreneurial journey continued with “Startup & Entrepreneurial Mindset”, featuring insights from Ms Anupama Buddharaju, Executive Director & Managing Partner, Elements Design Studio LLP, and Mr Anuraag Buddharaju, Co-Founder – 99Treez Real Estate. Their industry perspectives helped students understand that entrepreneurship is not merely about starting a venture—it is about identifying opportunities, embracing uncertainty, solving problems and creating value.

 

The day then moved from entrepreneurial thinking to real-world exposure and experiential learning. Through the Internships & Industrial Visit Briefing, facilitated by Dr Mohan Cherian, Mohamad Imrozuddin and Dr Maksud, students gained an understanding of opportunities to connect their academic learning with industry experience.

 

Adding an element of active learning, the Simulation Business Game, conducted by Dr Ujwala and Dr Lathangi R, gave students an opportunity to step into business decision-making, collaborate with peers and experience the dynamics of managing business situations.

 

The day concluded with a Bridge Session – Accounting, facilitated by Dr Anitha S. Yadav and Dr K. Krishna Kumar, helping students strengthen their foundational understanding and prepare for the academic journey ahead.
