The Presidency School of Management, in collaboration with the PMI Bangalore India Chapter Student Club (PMIPU Club), Presidency University, hosted an insightful Master Class titled “Project Management Trends with AI” on Friday, 11 September 2026.

 

Held at the L Block Seminar Hall from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm IST, the session provided management students with an industry-aligned perspective on the digital transformation of modern project management. The master class explored how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping project management practices, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency, forecasting risks and maximising stakeholder value.

 

The session commenced with a welcome and introduction by the student coordinators and Faculty Coordinator, Dr Ramesh Muthuswamy, who welcomed the distinguished resource person, Mr Sathya Prasad, Hon. Vice President – Membership, PMI Bangalore India Chapter.

 

Mr Sathya Prasad delivered an engaging and structured session covering key concepts, emerging trends and practical applications of AI in project management. The master class highlighted the growing role of AI in supporting project planning, decision-making, risk management and stakeholder engagement, offering students valuable insights into the evolving expectations of modern project professionals.

 

The event was well attended by students and faculty members and received the support of the senior leadership team of Presidency University, including Provost Dr Dinesh Nilkant; Dr K. Krishna Kumar, Dean, School of Management; Dr Sagi Srilalitha Girija Kumari, Associate Dean; and Dr V. N. Raghu, Director.

 

The programme was organised by the PMI Bangalore India Chapter Student Club (PMIPU Club), Presidency School of Management, with the support of Faculty Coordinator Dr Ramesh Muthuswamy and Student Coordinators Mr Mohammed Aftab T, Mr Shivakumar A Navalgatti and Ms Roshinni Pandiyan.
