The Presidency School of Management at Presidency University successfully organised an insightful session titled “Financial Modelling Bootcamp: From Theory to Excel-Driven Decision Making” on 9 March 2026. The session was delivered by CA Naresh Kumar Hotta, a practitioner in audit, accounting, consulting and valuation services, and Partner at RSSN & Associates. He shared practical insights into financial modelling and demonstrated how financial concepts can be effectively applied for data-driven decision making using Microsoft Excel, covering key areas such as financial model building, financial statement analysis and cash flow forecasting.

The highly interactive bootcamp provided MBA students with hands-on exposure to real-world financial modelling practices, enabling them to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical business applications. The session was coordinated by Dr Kushini Prasad, and the School of Management expressed its appreciation to CA Naresh Kumar Hotta for sharing his valuable industry expertise and enriching the students’ learning experience.
