SOLAS Welcomes International Adjunct Faculty Dr Michael J. Mustafa

The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (SOLAS) is delighted to welcome Dr. Michael J. Mustafa as International Adjunct Faculty, joining the School on 12 August.

 

Dr Mustafa currently serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Institute of Work, Organisation and Wellbeing (IWOW) at University of Nottingham Malaysia. He brings with him extensive international academic and professional experience in the fields of organisational psychology, management, entrepreneurship and human resource development.

 

As part of his engagement with SOLAS, Dr Mustafa will teach selected modules for students of the M.Sc. Psychology programme, with a focus on the following courses:

  • Organisational Psychology and Organisational Behaviour
  • Human Resource Management

In addition to classroom teaching, he will also conduct workshops and interactive sessions for university students, creating opportunities for global academic exposure and industry-oriented learning.

 

Dr Mustafa holds an MSc and PhD from the University of Nottingham and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). He also serves as Associate Editor (Perspectives) for Human Resource Development International and Associate Editor of the Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies.

 

With over 15 years of experience in academia and 11 years of service as a Major in the Australian Army, Dr Mustafa brings a distinctive blend of leadership, research excellence and practical insight to the SOLAS academic community.
