The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (SoLAS), Presidency University, formally welcomed Dr Michael J. Mustafa as an International Adjunct Faculty member on 14 August 2026. The occasion marked the commencement of his academic engagement with the School and reflected SoLAS's commitment to strengthening international academic collaboration and enriching students' learning through global academic perspectives.

The event was graced by Dr Vidya Shankar Shetty, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Presidency University, and Dr Pritha Sanyal, Head, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. They welcomed Dr Mustafa to the University and highlighted the significance of international academic engagement in fostering knowledge exchange and enhancing the teaching and learning environment. Faculty members of SoLAS also joined the occasion to extend a warm welcome to him.

As part of his engagement with SoLAS, Dr Mustafa will teach selected modules for students of the M.Sc. Psychology programme, focusing on Organisational Psychology and Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management. Drawing on his international academic experience and expertise in the areas of work, organisations, management and wellbeing, his sessions are expected to provide students with valuable perspectives that connect theoretical knowledge with contemporary organisational contexts.

Dr Mustafa will be associated with SoLAS as International Adjunct Faculty from 14 August to 5 September 2026. In addition to his teaching engagement, his presence at the School provides opportunities for academic interaction and exchange with students and faculty. The engagement forms part of SoLAS's broader efforts to promote internationalisation, interdisciplinary learning and meaningful global academic collaboration.
