The School of Law, Presidency University marked a significant milestone in its digital education journey with the official launch of EBC My Studio and the Agreement Signing Ceremony held on 9 June 2026.

 

The event celebrated the formalisation of a transformative partnership between the School of Law and Eastern Book Company (EBC), bringing together members of the University's leadership team, faculty, and EBC representatives, including Mr Abhinandan Malik, Director, and Mr Nirmal Bengani, Business Development Manager.

 

The collaboration introduces EBC’s Learning My Studio platform to the School of Law, creating new opportunities for innovative teaching, learning, and academic outreach. The platform will enable faculty members to design and deliver specialised online courses and certification programmes, expanding access to high-quality legal education for learners across geographical boundaries.

 

Prof. Dr Saroj Sharma, Dean, School of Law, played a pivotal role in shaping the vision for this partnership and highlighted the platform’s potential to enhance legal education through technology-enabled learning, specialised certifications, and industry-relevant academic content.

 

This partnership reflects the School of Law’s continued commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and the integration of cutting-edge digital infrastructure into legal education. By empowering faculty to develop and share specialised knowledge through online learning, the initiative is expected to strengthen the School’s academic impact and extend its reach to a wider global audience.
