A significant milestone marked the inaugural ceremony of Deeksharambh 2026 – School of Law Orientation Programme, held on 1 July 2026.

 

During the ceremony, Hon’ble Justice V. Gopala Gowda, Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, was conferred the distinguished title of Professor Emeritus at Presidency School of Law by our Honourable Chancellor, Dr Nissar Ahmed.

 

Presidency School of Law is delighted to announce this prestigious recognition, which honours Justice Gopala Gowda’s outstanding contributions to the judiciary, legal education, and the advancement of justice.

 

His association with Presidency School of Law as Professor Emeritus marks an important milestone in our continued pursuit of academic excellence and meaningful engagement with eminent members of the legal fraternity.
