Shaping Governance | 23–24 March 2026

Building on the success of the Decoding Boardroom Dynamics: National Workshop & Boardroom Simulation Competition held in November 2025, the SOL Boardroom Negotiation & Governance Simulation Competition returns as a dynamic national platform designed to immerse participants in the realities of corporate decision-making and governance practice. The event brings together students, academics and professionals to explore the complexities of boardroom deliberations, regulatory scrutiny and dispute resolution within the corporate ecosystem.

This first-of-its-kind simulation competition recreates the full lifecycle of a corporate dispute—from internal board negotiations and governance challenges to regulatory inquiry and final adjudication before a tribunal. Through structured rounds, participants analyse confidential case materials, identify governance lapses, navigate crisis scenarios and defend their positions in a simulated adjudicatory setting. The event offers a rigorous and practical learning experience aligned with contemporary legal education, strengthening skills in corporate law, governance, compliance, negotiation and advocacy while preparing participants for careers in corporate practice, regulatory advisory and dispute resolution.
