SOIS Hosts Seminar on Turning AI Ideas into Scalable Business Solutions

The GEN AI Club of the School of Information Science (SOIS) organised a seminar titled “From Prompt to Product: Turning AI Ideas into Scalable Business Solutions” on 22 September 2026, from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm at the L Block Basement Seminar Hall. Coordinated by Mr Faizan Anwar Khan, the programme aimed to help students understand how artificial intelligence (AI) ideas and prompts can be transformed into practical, scalable business solutions.

 

The session featured Mr Sourav Mishra, Business Architect and Co-Founder of ProGenics Global Consultants Pvt Ltd, and Co-Founder and Promoter Director of Logicarts, as the resource person. With over 15 years of industry experience in logistics, supply chain management, business strategy and enterprise sales, he shared valuable insights into the practical applications of AI in business and entrepreneurship.

 

The seminar focused on identifying real-world problems, understanding customer requirements, exploring AI-driven business applications and developing technology-based solutions that deliver meaningful value. The resource person emphasised the importance of combining technical expertise with business strategy, operational feasibility and scalability to transform innovative ideas into successful products.

 

The event witnessed the participation of over 70 students and three faculty members. It encouraged participants to think creatively, adopt a problem-solving approach and explore entrepreneurial opportunities enabled by AI.

 

Participants responded positively to the session, appreciating the resource person's clear explanations, practical industry insights and interactive approach. The seminar enhanced students' awareness of AI applications, emerging industry trends and the importance of developing user-focused, scalable solutions.

 

Overall, the programme provided an enriching learning experience by bridging the gap between AI concepts and real-world business applications. It inspired students to explore innovative ideas and develop practical, AI-powered solutions for the future.
