The School of Information Science (SOIS), Presidency University, Bengaluru, organised Project Prism 2.0 – From Thought to Technology, a project expo, on 23 October 2026 at E Block, Seminar Hall 4. The event provided a platform for 50+ first- and second-year Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) students to showcase their innovative ideas, technical knowledge and practical project implementations. Mr Wilfred Pradeep, Engineering Lead at Shell India Pvt Ltd, was the invited industry expert.

The expo focused on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, encouraging students to develop technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges. Key themes included intelligent systems, emerging technologies, machine learning, automation, design thinking, prototyping and user-centric problem-solving. Students presented their projects, demonstrated their functionality and explained their technical approaches, gaining valuable exposure to practical applications of technology.

Project Prism 2.0 encouraged innovation, creativity, teamwork and experiential learning while strengthening students' analytical thinking, technical communication and presentation skills. The event also provided an opportunity to gain industry-oriented perspectives and understand how ideas can be transformed into practical, meaningful technological solutions.
