SPREAD Ventures LLP and Presidency University successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday, 30 July, at the Presidency University campus.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by the university leadership, including Vice Chancellor Dr S. J. Thiruvengadam, Provost Dr Dinesh Nilkant and Registrar Dr Venkateswaran, along with the School of Design leadership, represented by Director Ms Srishti Bajaj and HoD Mr Srinivas Abhilash.

 

Based in Bengaluru, SPREAD Ventures LLP is a transdisciplinary design practice, innovation lab and consulting firm that works with leaders across healthcare, education, governance, retail, public infrastructure and beyond. The firm was founded by Ms Sonia Manchanda, Board Member of the World Design Organization.

 

Representing SPREAD Ventures at the ceremony were Sonia Manchanda, Founder; Girish Raj, Co-founder; Rajeshwari Math, Chief Operations Officer; and Aastha Parikh, Programme Lead, MIND Lab.

 

The MoU marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration between Presidency University and SPREAD Ventures. Through this partnership, both organisations aim to strengthen industry–academic collaboration, advance innovation in design education, nurture emerging talent, and create meaningful opportunities for students and faculty in innovation, research and industry engagement.
