The Inaugural and Investiture Ceremony of Aarohan – Commerce and Finance Club was conducted on 31 August 2026 at Seminar Hall 2, F Block, Presidency University, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, marking the formal commencement of the club’s activities for the academic year 2026–27.

 

The ceremony was graced by Dr Poornima Karthikeyan, HoD; Dr Padmavathi, Associate Dean; Dr Saba Inamdar, In-charge HoD; the Faculty Coordinator; faculty members; and students.

 

The programme commenced with the formal inauguration of the club, followed by the investiture of the student office bearers, who were entrusted with their respective roles and responsibilities. The ceremony highlighted the importance of leadership, teamwork, accountability, effective communication, and organisational skills, while fostering greater interest and professional development in the fields of commerce and finance.

 

The vision, objectives, and forthcoming activities of the club were also introduced, encouraging students to actively participate in academic and co-curricular initiatives.

 

The event concluded on an encouraging note, providing a strong foundation for the successful functioning and continued growth of Aarohan during the academic year 2026–27.
