Presidency School of Commerce, Presidency University, in association with the IIAAM Foundation, successfully organized the Air Argots Club Induction Program at the University Auditorium on Thursday, 05 February, from 8:50 AM to 12:35 PM.

 

The induction program formally welcomed new student members into the Air Argots Club, an academic and professional forum dedicated to nurturing leadership capabilities, innovation, collaborative learning, and industry-relevant skills in the fields of aviation, logistics, and allied sectors. The initiative aligns with the University’s commitment to experiential learning and industry-integrated education.

 

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Padmavathi, Associate Dean, Presidency School of Commerce, with strategic academic leadership from Dr. Poornima Karthikeyan and Dr. Saba Inamdar, HODs In-charge, School of Commerce. Their academic stewardship ensured a well-structured and impactful induction experience.

 

Dr. Samiya Mubeen, Aviation Program Coordinator, Presidency University, Bengaluru, played a key role in conceptualizing and structuring the program in alignment with academic objectives. The program was further enriched by the industry and academic insights of Dr. Lizy Kalaga, Faculty Coordinator and Chairperson, IIAAM Bengaluru, and Mr. Rakshith S, Director–Operations, IIAAM and Aviation Faculty, School of Commerce, Presidency University, Bengaluru.

 

The induction introduced students to the club’s vision, mission, governance framework, leadership structure, and strategic roadmap for the academic year. Through interactive sessions and leadership announcements, participants gained clarity on the club’s objectives, planned initiatives, and expectations from members.

 

Emphasizing professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning, the program encouraged students to actively contribute to the club’s activities and uphold standards of excellence throughout the academic year.

 

The Air Argots Club stands as a platform for aspiring aviation professionals to engage, learn, and grow through structured academic and industry-oriented initiatives.
