SOAHS Student Volunteers Provide Vital Medical Support at UDAAN 2026
The School of Allied Health Sciences (SOAHS) proudly supported UDAAN 2026, a premier State-Level Inter-College Sports Fest hosted by the Department of Physical Education & Sports at Presidency University from 24th to 27th February 2026. A dedicated cohort of 38 Physiotherapy students volunteered their expertise over three days, working alongside the professional Medical Support Team across various sports fields on campus. This collaborative effort ensured that participants received immediate attention and high-quality care during the high-energy competitive events.
This volunteering initiative provided our students with invaluable clinical exposure, allowing them to apply classroom theory to real-time sports injury assessment and management. Operating in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment significantly enhanced their professional confidence, teamwork, and communication skills. SOAHS extends its sincere appreciation to the Department of Physical Education & Sports for facilitating this meaningful hands-on learning opportunity, which bridges the gap between academic study and professional practice.
