Rotaract Club of Presidency University Organises “Echoes of the Wild” Wildlife Awareness Visit

The Rotaract Club of Presidency University successfully conducted the event “Echoes of the Wild” on 16 February 2026 at the Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Centre. The event was organised with the objective of promoting wildlife awareness, environmental responsibility, and conservation values among students through experiential learning.

 

The visit provided participants with an opportunity to observe rescued wildlife in a protected environment and understand the importance of conservation efforts. The session highlighted ethical wildlife treatment, biodiversity preservation, and the role individuals play in safeguarding nature and the environment.

 

Participants were guided through the premises with strict adherence to safety and conservation protocols. Instructions regarding silence, discipline, and responsible behaviour were followed throughout the visit to ensure minimal disturbance to the animals.

 

Transportation was arranged for all participants, and the event was conducted in a structured and well-organised manner under the supervision of the Rotaract team.
