The Rotaract Club of Presidency University successfully organised “Art of Earth – Where Clay Transforms into Timeless Creativity”, a creative pottery experience held on Sunday, 1 February 2026, at Pottery Town from 12:00 PM onwards.

 

A total of 17 members participated in the event. The session was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Ramya, a professional in pottery and clay art. The event aimed to provide participants with a hands-on experience of traditional pottery-making while encouraging creativity, relaxation, and artistic expression.

 

During the session, members interacted with Ms. Ramya and learned the basics of clay handling, shaping, and pottery techniques. Under her guidance, each participant had the opportunity to create their own pottery piece, experiencing the complete process of transforming raw clay into meaningful artwork.

 

The event created a calm, engaging, and enjoyable environment where participants explored their imagination, learned a new skill, and appreciated the beauty of traditional craftsmanship. The hands-on activity also strengthened bonding among members and offered a refreshing break from routine.

 

Overall, the programme was a memorable and enriching experience, successfully blending creativity, learning, and meaningful interaction through the art of pottery.
