The NSS cell of Presidency University organized the "Road Safety Awareness and Defensive Driving Technique Program" on May 17, 2024. The program was conducted in association with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI), Traffic Training & Road Safety Institute, and the Department of Traffic Control North Bangalore.

Mr. Manjey Gowda, senior police inspector TT and RSI, and Mr. Nayana Sikkalgar, sub-inspector TT and RSI from the traffic department, conducted the training program for the students. Mr. Sujay and his team from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) demonstrated a live simulator experience for students to test their driving skills. The resource people explained the safety measures in a vehicle, including checking the mirror positioning, tire pressure and grip checks, the efficiency of safety lights, etc., which will be beneficial to safe driving and avoiding road accidents.
