Research Lecture Series Inauguration – Presidency School of Commerce Research Forum
Presidency School of Commerce Research Forum successfully inaugurated its Research Lecture Series, “Advanced Tools and Frameworks in Academic Research: A Knowledge Series”, on August 9, 2025.
The inaugural session featured Dr. B. Upendra Rao, Assistant Professor – Senior Scale, who delivered an insightful presentation on “AI in Research”. His session provided valuable perspectives on the transformative role of artificial intelligence in academic research, including its applications in literature review, data analysis, and research automation.
The event was graced by Dean Dr. Krishna Kumar K. and HoDs Dr. Poornima Karthikeyan and Dr. Saba Inamdar. The coordination team comprised Dr. Shaply Abdul Kareem, Dr. Rajkumar Chavan, and Dr. Mohsin Showkat.
Faculty members and research scholars of the PSOC actively participated, engaging in meaningful discussions on how AI is revolutionising research methodologies.
This inaugural event marks the first instalment of an eight-part lecture series aimed at equipping the academic community with advanced research tools and contemporary frameworks to enhance scholarly output and research excellence.
