The Achievers & Performers – Spotlight Dance Auditions, presented by the Department of Student Affairs (DSA), Presidency University, were conducted on 22 July 2026, from 2:20 pm to 4:15 pm at the DSA Lawn, Presidency University, Bengaluru. The event provided a vibrant platform for freshers to showcase their talent, creativity, confidence and passion for dance.

 

The auditions saw enthusiastic participation from freshers, who performed in a variety of dance forms, including Indian Classical, Bihu and Hip-Hop, creating an energetic and lively atmosphere.

 

The event encouraged freshers to step out of their comfort zones, express themselves with confidence and demonstrate their abilities on stage. Their enthusiasm and participation made the auditions a memorable celebration of talent and cultural diversity.

 

Following the performances, the dance instructors evaluated the participants and shortlisted talented students for the Excellence Team, based on their overall performance, skills, expressions, technique and stage presence.

 

The Spotlight Dance Auditions provided freshers with an opportunity to showcase their passion for dance while encouraging them to actively participate in the University's cultural activities and represent Presidency University on various platforms.
