Presidency School of Management hosted the Orientation Program for the MBA PGCET Batch (2025–27) on November 24, 2025. The day was designed to officially welcome students and acquaint them with the university's leadership, academic framework, institutional resources, and support systems, and the holistic development of students. 

The inauguration ceremony was graced by university key officials Dr. S. J. Thiruvengadam – VC, Presidency University; Dr. Vidya Shankar Shetty – Pro VC; Dr. Subhashree Natarajan – Dean-PSOM; Dr. Mohammad Shahid – Joint Registrar; Dr. R. Jothi Basu – Assistant Dean-Academics; Mr. Chandrashekhar Devidas Ingle – Controller of Examinations; and Dr. Sheshadri K.N. – Chief Librarian; Ms. Kavitha V. – Associate Director-CSIC; Mr. Pavan Kumar – Head, IT; Ms. Maitraiyee Konar – Student Welfare Officer, Student Affairs; Dr. R. Lathangi – Student Mentoring Coordinator, PSOM; and Ms. Namratha Jessica – Student Counsellor, along with ICC Members – Gender Sensitisation and POSH.

The dignitaries addressed the new batch of students and parents with inspiring words and provided institutional context and expectations. Following the formal addresses, department heads introduced their departments, explained their key functions, and highlighted how they will support students throughout their academic journey.

The orientation concluded with the class coordinators facilitating the ID card process.
