The School of Computer Science and Engineering (PSOCSE), Presidency University, Bengaluru, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CYNUX ERA on Monday, 28 July 2026, at the VC Board Room, Presidency University, Bengaluru. The partnership marks a significant step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration by creating meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and industry professionals to work together in emerging areas of technology.

The primary objective of the MoU is to enhance students' industry exposure through structured internship programmes aligned with current technological trends, while promoting collaborative research and innovation in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), Data Science, and Cybersecurity. The partnership will also support industry-guided final-year projects, foster student entrepreneurship through incubation and mentorship, and deliver workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and certification programmes to strengthen both technical and professional skills. In addition, the collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by ensuring that academic learning remains aligned with evolving industry requirements.

The MoU is expected to improve students' employability by providing valuable real-world experience and exposure to modern tools, technologies, and industry practices. It will encourage the development of high-quality, industry-relevant projects and prototypes, support student start-ups through incubation initiatives, and facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions involving academic and industry experts. The collaboration is also expected to strengthen research outcomes through joint publications, patent opportunities, and collaborative research funding.
