PSOCSE Signs MoU with Ashok Leyland to Strengthen Industry–Academia Collaboration

Presidency School of Computer Science and Engineering (PSOCSE), Presidency University, Bengaluru, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ashok Leyland Limited, Hosur, on 10 June 2026, marking the beginning of a strong and impactful industry–academia collaboration.

 

The MoU was signed in the presence of the University's esteemed leadership, including Dr Venkateswaran S., Registrar, and Dr Thiruvengadam, Vice Chancellor. The event was also attended by Dr Duraipandian Nellaiappan, Dean, Presidency School of Computer Science and Engineering (PSOCSE); Dr Mahalakshmi, Associate Dean (PSIS); Heads of Department – Dr Blessed Prince P., Dr Asif Mohamed, Dr Pallavi Venkatesh R., and Dr Gopal Krishna Shyam; along with Ms Vidhya R., Assistant Professor, PSOCSE, who coordinated the initiative.

 

Representing Ashok Leyland Limited were Mr Rajendra Deshpande (Plant Head), Mr Mahendran (Head – LCV Manufacturing), Mr Gokulakrishnan (Quality Head), Mr Tojan Anthony (Head – Unit Planning, Industrial Engineering & Non-Production Purchase), Mr Deepu Zacharia, Mr Selvam (Lead – OS & BE, Hosur Cluster), Mr Srikanth (CTV – OS & BE), Mr G. Ramesh (HR Head – Training & Development, Hosur Units), Mr Nagaraj (HR Head, Hosur Units), Mr Santhosh Prasanna (CTV – OS & BE), and Mr Karunakaran (Employee Relations, H1).

 

This strategic partnership aims to create opportunities for internships, industrial training, live projects, collaborative research, technical workshops, expert lectures, and skill development initiatives. The collaboration will provide students and faculty with valuable industry exposure, hands-on learning experiences, and innovation-driven opportunities aligned with current industry requirements.
