PSOCSE: FusionX Hackathon 2026 – National Level 24-Hour Innovation Challenge
Presidency School of Computer Science and Engineering (Specialisation Division) at Presidency successfully organised FusionX 2026 – A 24-Hour Non-Stop National Hackathon on Emerging Technologies on 24th and 25th April 2026 at the university campus. The event brought together talented students, innovators, and technology enthusiasts from various institutions to showcase their creativity, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities through University real-time project development.
FusionX 2026 served as a dynamic platform for experiential learning, collaboration, and innovation. Participants worked continuously for 24 hours in teams to ideate, design, develop, and present impactful technology-driven solutions addressing real-world and industry-oriented challenges. The hackathon encouraged students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios while enhancing teamwork, leadership, communication, and project management skills.
The event featured multiple emerging technology domains including:
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Blockchain and Cyber Security
- Data Science and Big Data
- DevOps and Internet of Things (IoT)
- General CSE & Programming
Participants developed innovative applications such as intelligent automation systems, secure digital platforms, analytics dashboards, IoT-enabled smart solutions, and software-based problem-solving tools. Throughout the event, mentors and faculty coordinators provided continuous technical guidance, debugging support, and evaluation feedback, helping students refine their ideas and implementations.
FusionX 2026 also created opportunities for networking, industry interaction, and career development. Students gained hands-on exposure to current technological trends while improving their confidence in presenting and demonstrating technical solutions before experts and evaluators.
The hackathon concluded with final project demonstrations and evaluations, where outstanding teams were recognised with prizes and internship opportunities. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, strong collaboration, and remarkable innovation, making FusionX 2026 a grand success.
