13-April-2026

The Presidency School of Computer Science and Engineering (PSOCSE) successfully organised the programme “Industry Connect 2026: Campus to Corporate (Pathway to Employment)” from 13 to 20 April 2026 at the university auditorium. The initiative was designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, preparing students for professional careers.

The programme featured a series of expert-led sessions and specialised tracks delivered by industry professionals. Key domains covered during the event included Big Data, Data Science, DevOps, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML). Each session offered practical insights into current industry trends, along with hands-on exposure that aligned closely with corporate requirements.

All pre-final year students actively participated in the programme, making it a highly engaging and impactful learning experience. The sessions enabled students to gain a deeper understanding of real-world applications, industry practices, and emerging technologies.

The event served as a valuable platform for enhancing students’ technical competencies, career readiness, and professional awareness. By interacting with industry experts, participants were able to better understand the skills and knowledge required to transition successfully from campus to corporate environments.

Overall, Industry Connect 2026 proved to be a significant initiative in strengthening industry-academia collaboration and equipping students with the tools needed for future employment opportunities.
