PSAIAC Signs MoU with Trijna Labs to Advance AI Research and Innovation

Presidency School of Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Computing (PSAIAC) successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Trijna Labs on 21 August 2026.

 

The MoU signing ceremony was held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the VC Boardroom. The collaboration marks an important step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration in Artificial Intelligence, advanced computing, research and innovation.

 

The partnership will leverage PSAIAC’s AI Centre of Excellence and NVIDIA DGX H200 infrastructure to support advanced AI research, model development, experimentation and industry-oriented innovation.

 

About the Collaboration

 

The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration between PSAIAC and Trijna Labs in the areas of AI research, development, innovation and technology-driven education.

 

The collaboration will focus on:

  • Industry–academia collaboration in Artificial Intelligence research and development.

  • Priority access to GPU computing resources through the AI Centre of Excellence, including NVIDIA DGX H200 infrastructure.

  • Joint AI research, model development, testing and experimentation.

  • Collaborative research in foundation models, large language models and emerging AI technologies.

  • Student internships and research fellowship opportunities.

  • Faculty–industry interaction, mentorship and technical collaboration.

  • Sharing of selected AI models, APIs, demonstrations and research outputs, subject to applicable terms.

  • Opportunities for joint research projects and academic publications.

  • Development of India-focused and sovereign AI technologies.

Objectives of the MoU

 

The collaboration aims to:

  • Establish a structured framework for AI research and development between PSAIAC and Trijna Labs.

  • Facilitate access to high-performance GPU computing infrastructure for advanced AI research.

  • Promote collaborative research in foundation models, LLMs and emerging AI technologies.

  • Provide students with industry-oriented internships, fellowships and research opportunities.

  • Facilitate faculty–industry knowledge exchange and research collaboration.

  • Strengthen India’s indigenous and sovereign AI ecosystem.

  • Encourage innovation, experimentation and the development of India-focused AI solutions.

The partnership directly supports PSAIAC’s vision of strengthening industry engagement, advanced AI research, innovation and technology-driven education.
