PSAIAC Signs MoU with CHARAKA to Advance Healthcare Innovation and AI Research

The Presidency School of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing (PSAIAC), Presidency University, Bengaluru, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Confederation for Centre of Excellence in HealthTech and MedTech (CHARAKA), a flagship initiative of the Government of Karnataka, to strengthen collaboration in healthcare innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.

 

The partnership establishes a strategic framework for multidisciplinary collaboration in HealthTech, MedTech, Digital Health, Public Health, Environmental Health, One Health, and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. It brings together academia, researchers, clinicians, start-ups, industry leaders, and policymakers to develop innovative solutions to real-world healthcare challenges.

 

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Dr Bhaskar Rajakumar, CEO, CHARAKA – Centre of Excellence for HealthTech and MedTech, Government of Karnataka; Dr Sivaperumal Sampath, Pro Vice Chancellor, Presidency University; Dr Shakkeera L., Dean, Presidency School of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing (PSAIAC); Dr Robin Rohit Vincent, Head, NVIDIA Centre of Excellence, PSAIAC; Dr Sampath A. K., Professor, PSAIAC; and Mr Vinayak R. K., Assistant Professor, PSAIAC.

The collaboration reflects the shared commitment of Presidency University and CHARAKA to advancing research, innovation, capacity building, entrepreneurship, and technology-enabled healthcare solutions while fostering a vibrant ecosystem for academic and industry engagement.
