Presidency School of Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Computing (PSAIAC) successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Translational AI for Networked Universal Healthcare (TANUH), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), an AI Centre of Excellence in Healthcare supported by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

 

The MoU signing ceremony was held on 21 August 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at the VC Boardroom.

 

The collaboration marks an important step towards strengthening academic and research cooperation in Artificial Intelligence, healthcare, machine learning, data science and translational research, with a focus on developing responsible and impactful AI-driven healthcare solutions.

 

About the Collaboration

 

The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration between PSAIAC and TANUH, IISc in AI-enabled healthcare research, innovation, education and technology development.

 

The partnership will facilitate:

• Joint research projects in AI and healthcare.

• Interdisciplinary development of AI-enabled healthcare solutions.

• Faculty and student training programmes.

• Internships, projects, workshops and seminars.

• Access to research expertise and infrastructure.

• Collaborative research publications and project proposals.

The MoU will support the integration of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Healthcare Analytics, Data Science and interdisciplinary research into academic learning.
