PSAIAC Hosts Landmark AI Leadership Events and Launches New Innovation Initiatives

We are delighted to share that the Presidency School of Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Computing (PSAIAC), Presidency University, successfully organised a series of landmark events on 15 June 2026, bringing together distinguished academicians, industry leaders, innovators, and students on a single platform.

 

The event featured the AI Leadership Session, during which eminent experts shared valuable insights into the future of Artificial Intelligence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies. The session inspired students and faculty members to explore cutting-edge advancements and emerging industry opportunities in AI and advanced computing.

 

A major highlight of the event was the AI Leaders Panel Discussion, which featured thought-provoking conversations led by renowned leaders from academia and industry. The panel addressed topics including AI transformation, industry–academia collaboration, innovation ecosystems, ethical AI, and future workforce readiness. The discussions provided participants with a broader understanding of the evolving AI landscape.

 

The event also showcased an impressive Project Exhibition, where students presented innovative projects and prototypes demonstrating creativity, technical excellence, and problem-solving capabilities in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, IoT, and Advanced Computing. The exhibition reflected the institution’s commitment to experiential learning and research-driven education.

 

Another significant milestone was the inauguration of the Presidency School of Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Computing (PSAIAC), marking a new chapter in advancing AI-focused education, research, and innovation at Presidency University. The school aims to nurture future-ready professionals equipped with industry-relevant skills and global exposure.

 

The event further celebrated the inauguration of the AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE), accelerated by NVIDIA, which will serve as a dedicated platform for advanced research, innovation, industry collaboration, and high-performance AI computing. The Centre of Excellence is expected to create transformative opportunities for students, researchers, and start-ups within the AI ecosystem.

 

In addition, the prestigious launch of BOHRAI – Bharat Open Innovation Hub for Robotics & AI Hackathon was conducted during the event. With a prize pool of ₹1 crore, BOHRAI aims to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and breakthrough ideas in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence by engaging students, start-ups, and technology enthusiasts from across the country.

 

The successful execution of these events reflects PSAIAC’s vision of becoming a leading hub for AI education, innovation, research, and industry collaboration, while empowering the next generation of technology leaders.
