The Presidency School of Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Computing (PSAIAC) organised Faculty Day Out 2026 on 5 September 2026 at Club Cabana as a special celebration of Teachers’ Day.

 

Recognising the continuous academic responsibilities, teaching commitments and professional demands placed on faculty members, the programme was thoughtfully planned as an opportunity to step away from routine, relieve work-related stress, relax and rejuvenate in the company of colleagues.

 

The day brought together 54 faculty members for a refreshing and enjoyable experience featuring team-building activities, adventure and water-based recreation, indoor and outdoor games, informal interactions, lunch and hi-tea.

 

Building Connections Beyond the Classroom

 

The programme began with an engaging team-building session designed to encourage communication, collaboration, mutual understanding and team spirit. It provided faculty members with an opportunity to interact beyond the formal academic environment and strengthen their professional and personal connections.

 

The recreational activities included archery, rope activities, bull ride, Water World activities, rain dance, wave pool, interactive pool, lazy river, open jacuzzi and water slides.

 

Faculty members also participated enthusiastically in chess, carrom, billiards, table tennis, volleyball, lawn tennis and shuttle badminton, creating an atmosphere of fun, camaraderie and friendly competition.

 

A Refreshing Break from Academic Routine

 

More than just a recreational outing, Faculty Day Out 2026 served as a well-deserved pause from the demands of academic life. The relaxed atmosphere, laughter, recreation and informal conversations gave faculty members an opportunity to unwind, refresh themselves and return with renewed energy and positivity.

 

The celebration also created an opportunity for faculty members from different departments to interact freely, appreciate one another and build stronger bonds of camaraderie and belonging within PSAIAC.

 

A Celebration of Our Teachers

 

Teachers’ Day is an opportunity to recognise the dedication, commitment and invaluable contribution of educators. Faculty Day Out 2026 provided a meaningful way to celebrate this contribution—not through formal ceremonies alone, but by giving faculty members time to relax, enjoy, reconnect and focus on their well-being.

 

The event created a positive and stress-free environment where faculty members could temporarily set aside their routine responsibilities and enjoy the company of their colleagues.
