Presidency University Successfully Hosts  Innovatex 3.0, Shaping the Future of Technology

Presidency University successfully hosted the national-level tech festInnovatex 3.0, from April 15 to 17, 2025, at the campus. Organised by the Presidency School of Engineering and the Presidency School of Computer Science Engineering and Information Science, the three-day event captivated participants with a dynamic mix of 18 exhilarating events that ranged from Robo Wars, Robo Soccer, RC Rally, Maze Runner, and Drone Challenges to Hackathons and numerous other tech-driven activities.



Innovatex 3.0 gained a phenomenal response, with enthusiastic participation from over 1200 students from prestigious institutions across the country, including VITs, Lovely Professional University, MGR University Chennai, KLE Hubli, SRM, PESIT, RVCE, MSRIT, and more. In addition, 500 internal students from the University were shortlisted to participate in various events, showcasing the diverse talent that exists both within and outside the university.



The event was graced by esteemed personalities who further elevated its significance. Chief Guest, Dr. Satya Gupta, President of the VLSI Society of India and Co-Founder of EPIC Foundation, Bengaluru, inspired the attendees with his insights on the future of technology and innovation. The presence of distinguished guest like Shri Madan PadakiFounder and CEO of 1Bridge, and President of TiE Bengaluru, added a layer of expertise and encouragement. Dr. Nissar Ahmed, the Hon'ble Chancellor, extended best wishes for the event, and key officials, Dr. Vijayan Immanuel, Vice Chancellor, along with Pro-Vice Chancellors Dr. Md Sameeruddin Khan, Dr. Vidya Shankar Shetty, Dr. Siva Perumal S., and Dr. Sameena Noor Ahmed Panali, Registrar, provided valuable guidance and motivation throughout the event.



International speakers Dr. Goffi and Dr. Bhuyan sparked vital discussions on AI's future and ethics, offering key insights on "AI Today and AGI Tomorrow".



Innovatex 3.0 was a well-organised and engaging tech fest that served as a dynamic platform for aspiring engineers and innovators to showcase their talents, gain industry insights, and explore the future of technology. Supported by community partners Unstop and Hack Culture, the event reflected Presidency University’s strong commitment to innovation and excellence. Its resounding success highlighted the dedication of both participants and organisers, setting a high benchmark for future editions.
