Presidency University Signs MoU with Miami University for Global Academic Collaboration
Presidency University signed an MoU with Miami University, Ohio, USA, on May 22, 2025. The delegation was led by Dr Elizabeth Reitz Mullenix, Provost and Executive Vice President; Dr. Vaishali Raval, Professor of Psychology; and Ms. Karla Guinigundo, Director, Global Partnerships Global Initiatives.
The visit featured engaging discussions focused on advancing academic excellence, global engagement, and innovation. Key proposals included:

1. Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL): A proposed collaborative hub for faculty development, joint research, pedagogical innovation, and academic excellence.

2. Master’s Progression Pathways (3.5 + 1.5) and Direct Entry Programs: Planned pathways in computer science, engineering, and design to enable seamless postgraduate transition to Miami University.

3. Dual PhD Programs: Potential collaboration in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Mechatronics, and allied fields to facilitate joint research and supervision.

4. Hosting the Lilly Conference in India: Plans to co-host this prestigious faculty development conference, strengthening regional academic capacity.
