The Lights, Camera, Action! – Theatre Auditions 2026, presented by the Department of Student Affairs (DSA), Presidency University, were held on 29 July 2026, from 2:20 pm to 4:15 pm at the DSA Lawn, Presidency University, Bengaluru. The auditions brought together enthusiastic freshers who stepped into the spotlight to explore their passion for acting and theatre.

 

The session featured expressive performances, impactful dialogues, character portrayals and confident stage presence, as students showcased their inpidual acting styles and creativity.

 

Following the performances, the theatre instructors evaluated the participants and shortlisted students for the Excellence Team, based on their acting skills, expressions, dialogue delivery, confidence, character portrayal and overall stage presence.

 

The Theatre Auditions 2026 marked an exciting beginning for aspiring performers, giving freshers an opportunity to discover their potential and take their first step towards becoming part of the University's theatre and cultural activities.
