Presidency University’s ISR Cell organized a talk on "Lakes of Bangalore" on November 15, 2024. The keynote speaker, Mr. Chidanand, Founder of Yuva Sanchalan, shared the alarming decline of Karnataka's lakes and the urgent need for collective action to restore these vital ecosystems, particularly in the Arkavati Basin. More than 50 students attended this session and had their queries answered by Mr. Chidanand.

As part of the "Restore the Blue: Sustainable Lake Rejuvenation" initiative, the University and Yuva Sanchalan are working to rejuvenate Nagarakere and Muthur Lakes in Bangalore. The program engages students and the community, promoting sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. Ms. Neha Panwar, Manager ISR, expressed her gratitude to the speaker for giving valuable insights to the student community.
