On 29 July 2026, Presidency University, Bengaluru, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Phitons Bioengineering to establish a strategic academic–industry partnership aimed at promoting innovation, experiential learning, applied research, and meaningful industry engagement. The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Venkateswaran S., Registrar, Presidency University, and Mr. Ramana Kumar Musunuru, Head of Operations, Phitons Bioengineering.

 

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. S. J. Thiruvengadam, Vice Chancellor; Dr. Dinesh Nilkant, Provost; Dr. V. N. Raghu, Director, Presidency School of Management; Dr. K. Krishna Kumar, Dean, Presidency School of Management; Dr. Srilalitha, Associate Dean, Presidency School of Management; and faculty members Dr. Mohan Cherian, Dr. Nandini Sinha, and Dr. Ranjith P. V.

 

The partnership establishes a strong framework for sustained collaboration through guest lectures by industry experts, student internships, live consulting projects, industrial visits, joint research initiatives, case development, faculty–industry interactions, and entrepreneurship promotion.

 

By integrating academic excellence with industry expertise, the collaboration aims to enrich the teaching and learning ecosystem, strengthen industry–academia engagement, foster innovation and research, enhance students' practical competencies, and improve graduate employability, while supporting the University's vision of delivering globally relevant, industry-oriented management education.
