Presidency School of Design at the Global Design Summit 2025

Presidency School of Design students and faculty participated in the "25th Global Design Summit & Exposition 2025", held at Hotel Leela Bhartiya City, on November 26-27, 2025. The event, which marked 25 years of design leadership and centred around the theme “Design for the 4Ps: People – Planet – Purpose – Profitability”, brought together renowned industry leaders, design experts, and academicians.

Day 1: Thought Leadership & Interaction

Day 1 provided students with a valuable opportunity to listen to and interact with industry leaders and design experts, enriching their understanding of contemporary and future-orientated design practices.

Key sessions included:

  • Design Talk 4: “Time Bends Forward”
    Presented by Ms. Srishti Bajaj, Director, School of Design, focusing on forward-looking design perspectives.

  • Panel Discussion 2: “Design for a Better Planet: Shaping a Sustainable Future”
    Featuring Ms. Niraja Adloori, HOD, PSOD, who contributed insights on sustainable design and environmental responsibility.

Day 2: Experiential Industry Visits

Students and faculty from the Product Design participated in curated industry visits, gaining firsthand exposure to real-world design applications:

  • Titan Company Ltd
    Exploring Titan’s design ethos, culture, and people-centric innovation.

  • Dynamatic Aerotropolis
    Understanding the growth of Dynauton from a promising startup to an aerospace innovator.

  • B M Museum – “From Craft to Aircraft”
    Experiencing India’s design journey from traditional craftsmanship to modern engineering excellence.
