NVIDIA Deep Learning Faculty Skill Enhancement Programme

16-December-2025

SOCSE, Presidency University, successfully organised the “NVIDIA Deep Learning – Five-Day Faculty Skill Enhancement Program” from 11 to 16 December 2025 at the DGL05 Lab. The offline workshop was designed to strengthen faculty expertise in artificial intelligence, deep learning, and GPU-accelerated computing, while bridging the gap between academic curriculum and rapidly evolving industry practices. Through expert-led sessions and extensive hands-on training, participants gained practical exposure to NVIDIA platforms, DGX servers, CUDA frameworks, and modern AI development workflows.

The programme was delivered by industry experts from Global Infoventures Pvt. Ltd., who covered topics such as distributed and multi-GPU training, model optimisation, MLOps, real-time inference pipelines, and ethical AI practices. Faculty members actively engaged in laboratory sessions involving industry-standard tools including TensorRT, DeepStream, Triton, RAPIDS, and generative AI frameworks. Overall, the programme significantly enhanced participants’ technical confidence and teaching capability, enabling them to integrate advanced AI concepts, hands-on labs, and project-based learning into core Computer Science subjects, while also supporting research readiness and accreditation requirements
